HOW TO BUY

  1. Send in the email inquiry form. We will acknowledge receipt of your inquiry. We aim to dispatch your poster less that three working days after we receive your inquiry. You can request a faster turn-around on the inquiry form.

  2. Our first action is to inspect your poster, satisfy ourselves that our description matches the actual condition and consult with you, before proceeding, if we are at all in doubt. Most of our posters are in excellent condition. Where there is any damage or where damage has been mended we will photograph it and send you the photographs so that you can take a view on whether you wish to proceed or not.

  3. We will research the best way to deliver your poster to your address. We prefer to deliver your poster flat if at all possible and if the cost is not prohibitive.

  4. Your poster will come with a no quibble returns guarantee so we don’t want you to be disappointed when you unpack it. We do our best, of course, to make sure that you have no reason to send it back. You can read our returns policy here.

  5. Most of the posters offered on our site have been inspected by a museum trained conservator and we have acted on her advice. Many of our posters are backed onto Japanese Mulberry paper which can be removed at some point in the future should you wish to do so. We have done this not to repair damage but to protect the poster from damage or deterioration in the future. Most of our posters were printed on poor quality paper that was not intended to be collected and handled, however carefully, but rather to be used as advertising and then papered-over or torn-down and thrown away. If we feel that the poster you have inquired about needs conservation we will contact you to discuss.

  6. Finally we will send you a quote that includes any agreed conservation and the cost of insured delivery and packing. You can then take a view and if you decide to proceed you can arrange payment in the manner described in the quote.
