PRIVACY & DATA SECURITY
We understand how important your privacy and the safe handling of your data is to you, if for no other reason than that we are obsessive when it comes to our own privacy and the handling of our data.
We will not share with any other party or parties, in any way shape or form, for any purposes whatsoever any information that you provide to us. You should be aware that in the extremely unlikely event of the police or similar authorities asking us to share your data with them we may be forced to do so. We will resist their demands as far as we can and make sure that they are who they say they are.
We use physical, electronic, digital and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage, and usage of personal information and data.
We only store data that you provide to us. We do not automatically or otherwise collect information about your activities in our website when you are visiting the site nor do we use cookies and other unique identifiers to, for example, collect information about your web-browser activity or any of that below the horizon stuff that everyone today seems to think is theirs to collect by right.
We do hold data such as names, email addresses and postal addresses for those who have provided such data to us in order that we can send email updates/newsletters and/or fulfil orders for services or products. We also keep a short and simple record of the relationship between you and us (when you first subscribed to our newsletter for example) and a record of any purchases you may have made.
Our payment method - you order a poster, we invoice you, you instruct your bank to transfer the money into our bank - means that we never see, handle or store your financial data. We make no apologies for not accepting cards, or using other money transfer services like Paypal or Stripe. They just add another level of cost and risk. Read more here
Any personal information provided to us by you through this website is managed by the data manager (see below). The data manager is also the data controller and no one else has access to the data. The data manager stores your data on a CRM platform which only recognises him and a single device which is used solely for data management purposes. The platform demands three stage authentication each and every time he logs on.
We hope all this is clear, helpful and reassuring. If you find any errors or omissions, if you seek clarification, if you want to see the data we hold for you, if you wish to have your data changed (if you move or change your email address for example) or if you want us to remove your data from our records please just email your request to datamanager@modernposters.co.ukwe will endeavour to deal with your request within two working days.
